Barack Obama pre Thursday 4/06/09 Speech BBC Interview

So Mr barack Obama is going to give what is said to be “an important” speech in Egypt.  He was then interviewed by the BBC, obviously to hype and promote the speech.

So there is scknowledgement that there are “misaprehensions from the West about the Muslim world, and there are mishaprehension from the Muslim world about the West”…

Israel and Palestine – say’s its too early in the conversation – seems to be taking the safe end for now, and not taking a major stand.  Says what he thinks should be done, Israel says they will do the opposite and he says we still talking….hoping “talking” means they will be convinced…

To add to that he says he believes Iran has legitimate energy concerns with their nuclear programme…

Before judging – we wait for the speech…
