How about this for thought process…40 years after walking down that isle and the trip to the Bahamas for your honeymoon, you finally realise you’ve made the biggest mistake of your life. Quickly you wanna salvage whats left of it. But since “love was in the air”, no1 though of a prenupt. So you have to share everything in half. Half-Half. How about the house. Well she cant have it after annoying me for 40 years. She took my life away from me…blah blah blah..and every other reason that comes to mind.
And gosh are lawyers expensive – and this might take the rest of our lives.
40 yrs worth
Lets take a road trip – Kamchay Mea district of Cambodia. Lawyers are so expensive there that a couple, married for forty years decided to take matters into their own hands – literally divide their house in half so each gets their fair share. Though the wife will keep the pictured half and stay put, hubby has moved on and is putting his half together on the other side of the village. Currently, he’ll have to put up with mom and dad.
